For some of us, keeping a healthy lifestyle is a breeze, but for the rest of us, trying to eat healthy and exercise can be a pain! At the end of the day our health is one of the most important things in life and it’s vital that we love and take care of our bodies! So, on this week, we’re going to share 4 ways to live a healthier life!
Now we know life can be busy and it can be hard keep a healthy routine but hopefully these 4 tips can help our Livetriber’s live healthier lives!

Drink more water: Our bodies are made from 60% water, so it’s only natural that the most important thing our body needs is water! However, some of us forget to hydrate our bodies, which can be damaging! Although it differs from each person, generally a person needs 2-3 liters of water per day! So, do what you can to remind yourself to drink water, whether its constantly carrying a bottle or even setting hourly alarms! Hydration is key!

Get more exercise/Pick exercises you enjoy: If your daily schedule is jam packed, try to incorporate exercise in your day to day life, whether that’s taking the stairs instead of the escalator, or waking up earlier to walk the longer way to your destination. Do whatever you can to get your blood pumping! Exercise doesn’t have to be bore! Pick exercises you enjoy, whether that’s dancing, walking, jogging or swimming. Everyday you’re building your endurance and stamina and making your body adjust to more activity. So just keep moving! Here are a few fun exercising examples!

Cut down on processed foods: Now, we know it can be tempting! Processed foods are there for convenience especially when we don’t have time to prepare your meals. But these foods can do a lot of harm to our bodies, especially when preservatives and chemicals are added to the mix. If you need to purchase a processed snack, check the ingredients first, make sure you know what’s going into your body! Try to incorporate more fruits and veggies into your meals as well!

Prepare meals you enjoy: Many people think that eating healthy means cutting down on all carbs, fats, sugars and just eating leaves all day. But that’s not the case! Learning to prepare meals you enjoy will really change the way you see food and nutrition. Start finding healthy recipes that you enjoy and if you don’t like a certain vegetable/fruit, it’s okay! Learn to cook with your favourite fruits and veggies and you’ll be surprised how different your life will be! Here are a few easy and healthy recipes we love!
